The crowning glory on this elegant wedding
cake is the bow, made from white chocolate and
dusted with an edible pearl luster. White
chocolate flowers provide a yummy accent. |

To
create elements of movement on a cake, I like
to incorporate waves of fondant and sparkling
hand blown sugar bubbles, shiny fondant pearls
and flowing pulled sugar seagrass. As weddings
are often more than just the union of man and
woman, we created sugarpaste figures of the
entire family, representing a family brought
together in love. |

The unique feature in this wedding cake is the
topper, a chalice made of glittering silver
sugar and white chocolate pearls, filled with
fresh flowers. The magnificent floral "boa"
was created by one of Beth Goodman's talented
team. |

Make a simple cake simply gorgeous by altering
the standard shape. Here, all that is needed
to finish off the look are white chocolate
pearls and fresh flowers. You'll notice that
part of the charm of this cake is it's
"frame": a silver cake pedestal and stemmed
votive holders give the cake table that extra
oomph to complete the picture. |
