An
elopement doesn't mean that you have to miss
having your cake (and eating it too)! A single
tiered cake can be ornamented with sugar
flowers (or butterflies, chocolate shells,
bows, etc.) to make your special day complete. |

Dilemma: you have always wanted a three tiered
wedding cake but you are having a small
reception of only 10 persons... what do you
do? You have Sugar create a miniature tiered
wedding cake, of course! Hardly taller that a
water goblet, this tiny cake is covered in
pearlized white chocolate and decorated with
white chocolate ropes and sugar plaques
depicting the couples monogram and the wedding
date. Who says bigger is better?! |

While sugar roses are the most commonly
requested flower, Sugar can create any flower
that you choose to have on your cake! Here,
miniature Stargazer Lilies on royal icing
"lace" adorn the cake, while the real thing
surrounds the base. |

Briar roses and Grecian style pillars are the
focal point on this cake, brought together
with fondant vines and touches of edible gold
leaf. Original design by master cake artist
Anna Von Marborg. |
