You can create the illusion of a larger cake
by utilizing pillared tiers for height. Pale
pink sugar flowers and buttercream "grapes"
complete this graceful yet simple design. |

Viva Las Vegas! My friend, a very gregarious
rockabilly boy, and his
beautiful bride chose to have a "Blue
Hawaiian" reception (think: Elvis). To really
capture their personalities as well as the
theme of their reception, I hand painted a
glittering cheetah print onto fondant and
cascaded blue sugar hibiscus flowers down one
side. The topper, a bride and pompadoured
groom, were provided by the happy couple. |

Not for the faint of heart: Cheesecakes
covered in rich chocolate ganache
and decorated with Belgian chocolate tiles.
Yum! I first spotted this design in a copy of
In Style Magazine. It was followed up the next
year with a similar one in lavender. |
